Child Protection and Education

Africa Life Aid (ALA) acknowledges that education is a powerful driver of development and one of the strongest instruments for reducing poverty and improving health, gender equality, peace, and stability. We work to keep children in school for as long as it is possible. This includes the use of extra and co-curricular activities.We also encourage parents to send their girls to school. We also give awareness on the importance of education coupled with the provisions of the law such as the Child Act 2009 of South Sudan which states that every child has the right education. We also work in giving livelihood opportunities through vocational education and training. Thus we support all efforts geared towards this.
