In response to the challenges posed by the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown, Africa Life Aid launched a tailoring empowerment program to support women. The program aimed to equip participants with essential tailoring skills, enabling them to generate income and support their families during the pandemic. By providing sewing machines and training, the initiative fostered economic resilience and self-reliance, offering a sustainable solution for women facing limited work opportunities during the lockdown. This project exemplified our commitment to uplifting vulnerable communities, even during challenging times.
